Absolutely nothing.

Had an amazing stay at Mudhouse Hostel. The common areas were beautiful, including a yoga deck and kitchen with a coffee machine. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were clean. The owners were friendly and the hostel had a great energy. The location was perfect, just a 3-minute walk from the village, but still peaceful with the sound of birds. Definitely recommend!

During my recent business trip to Mompiche, my director chose the Mudhouse Hostel as our accommodation. I must say that it was a refreshing and enjoyable experience. One of the highlights was the friendly and welcoming guests who had a similar love for adventure and outdoor activities. It was great to relax after a surf session or a walk in the surrounding countryside, exchanging stories and tips with fellow travelers. The atmosphere created a sense of community and made my stay even more memorable.

Yoga deck hammock lounge for relaxation. Short walk to beach and restaurants. Peaceful, well-rested sleep. Clean and safe, with cameras and police station nearby. Friendly and helpful owners. English and Spanish spoken. Mosquito repellents provided. Highly recommended to friends and family.

The cabins were comfortable and sparkling clean, with regularly washed mosquito nets. The kitchen was well-equipped and the WiFi was reliable. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and the owners were friendly and helpful. We loved the attention to detail, from the artwork in the rooms to the soap bars on seashells. The hangout spots with cozy cushions and hammocks were perfect for chilling out. we highly recommend staying at this amazing place!

I got great value for my money at Mudhouse Hostel in Mompiche. The room was cozy with bug nets and the location was peaceful, just a short walk away from the beach.

Absolutely mind-blowing! This place is a hidden paradise with lush surroundings and welcoming hosts. The bamboo cabins are super cute, and the open-air showers are incredibly refreshing. The outdoor common space with hammocks and pillows is perfect for relaxation. Mendee, the host, goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect, providing tons of recommendations and organizing activities. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the beach and all the delicious food options in town. The reliable wifi is a huge plus. This hostel is not a party place, but I met amazing people and made lifelong friends. I ended up extending my stay because it was so hard to leave this little piece of heaven!

The location of this hostel is perfect, just a few minutes away from the beach, bars, and restaurants. The dorm room is spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and mosquito nets that wrap around the corners, providing a peaceful night's sleep. The owners are environmentally conscious, offering the option to separate compost, tin, waste, plastic. They also provide 20-liter water bottles for a small fee.

The showers only have cold water, which may be a downside for some guests.
